The Cave Shepherd Card is the first non-financial services institution in the Latin America and Caribbean region to be issued a Card Issuer License directly from VISA in 2016. As a disruptor in the payments market, the Cave Shepherd Card Mobile App was launched in the Barbadian market aimed at introducing a new innovative and hassle-free alternative for micro, small and medium sized businesses designed to assist in digital payment collections, adding a high degree of convenience for our valued Cardholder Family.
We are also happy to cater to the younger members of the Cave Shepherd Cardholder Family with the Cave Shepherd Student Smart Card. This product was specially designed to give students a helping hand as they start their tertiary educational journey; and offers flexible payment options.
Our thrust towards digital transformation has led us on a new journey where Cave Shepherd Card (Barbados) Inc. will be operating as a wholly-owned subsidiary under the Cave Shepherd Group of Companies. This exciting transition has also birthed a new brand for the Cards business. New Name! Same Great Product and Service! Cave Shepherd Card is now Payce Digital.

Alison Browne-Ellis has responsibility for the overall strategic leadership of Payce Digital including business planning and business development growth strategies as she actively leads a dynamic team. Alison brings over 24 years of experience in the financial services and payments industry where she performed several regional roles during her tenure at Barclays Bank and FirstCaribbean International Bank.
Alison holds an Executive Diploma from the Ivey Business School, Western University, and a Master of Business Administration with Distinction, from the University of Surrey. Alison is a current Council Member and past Vice President of the Barbados Chamber of Commerce and Industry where she also chairs the Marketing & Communications Committee. Additionally, Alison sits on the Advisory Board for Corporate Affairs & Intellectual Property Office.
Alison’s stellar leadership over the last ten years has led Cave Shepherd & Co. Limited to achieve the status of the first “Non-Financial Institution” in the English-Speaking Latin American Caribbean to acquire a Visa Issuer Member Licence.
Keri Mapp has the responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Payce Digital business, including Strategic Planning and Execution, Project Management, Customer Service Experience, Credit Management, Marketing and Business Development.
Prior to this role, Keri spent 16 years in the financial services industry with responsibility for Barbados and Eastern Caribbean. She has a proven track record in leading change initiatives with expertise in implementation of innovative products and business development, digital marketing and corporate social responsibility strategies and project management techniques.
Keri holds a Bachelor of Science - Management and Marketing with Honors from the University of West Indies, Cave Hill Campus and a Master of Business Administration with Distinction from the University of Bradford and is member of the Barbados Chamber of Commerce and Industry Marketing & Communication committee and a member of the Rotary Club of Barbados.
Curtis Greaves joined the Payce Digital Family in 2019 and has the responsibility for leading the technological aspect of Payce Digital including information technology systems management, product and CMS enhancements related to the Payce Digital Mobile App and Payce Digital Mobile Partner App, business continuity planning, physical security, project management, process improvement, data analysis and management reporting.
Curtis holds a Master of Science in Management with specialization in Marketing and a Bachelor of Science and Computer Science both awarded by the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus. He is a member of Toastmasters International believes that developing speaking and communication skills is a must, especially for technical persons like himself, who often struggle to get their ideas across; his passion for data and science are steadily exhibited in all operational and customer facing activities of the business; predominately resulting in the birth of the Payce Digital Mobile App.
Curtis brings over 20 years of experience to the Team, combined with his in-depth knowledge of Information Technology and love of data, having worked previously in areas such as Financial Services - Credit Card, Marketing Telecommunications and Retail.
Chetwyn Greenidge has the responsibility of the day-to-day management of Credit Department including liaising with customers to ensure the best and most feasible credit plan is in place to meet their needs. A seasoned Credit Professional, he has 34 years of extensive experience in Sales and Credit Management with primary responsibility for Delinquency Management.
Chetwyn holds an Associate Degree in Computer Studies from the Barbados Community College and Bachelor of Science in Management with Honors from The University of The West Indies.
Aside from credit, Chetwyn is a French enthusiast and avid photographer with a love for travel. He spends most of his time championing fundraisers, and other projects to lend financial assistance to his alma mater.
Joycelyn Cumberbatch holds the responsibility of ensuring that the Team delivers the most extraordinary customer service experience to the Payce Digital Family. With 24 years of experience in customer service her role entails managing the customer service operations of the organization, evaluating and addressing customer feedback, developing and implementing strategies to improve customer satisfaction and staff training.
A graduate of the Barbados Community College, Joycelyn holds an Associate Degree in Business Studies. She also holds a Diploma in Supervisor Management and an Advanced Certificate in Executive Development from the Barbados Institute of Management and Productivity.
Kaylene Henry is a dedicated and experienced marketing professional with over 18 years of documented experience in marketing strategy, brand management, communications, project management, marketing research, business development and event management across a range of industries.
In holding the responsibility of the Marketing & Business Development Team, Kaylene’s mandate includes formulating and implementing marketing strategies, as well as, overseeing the solidification of business partnerships to ensure the effective positioning and advancement of Payce Digital’s products and services. During her tenure, Kaylene has been instrumental in leading the market launch of the 2016 Cave Shepherd Visa Card, 2018 Cave Shepherd Card Mobile App and most recently the rebrand to Payce Digital in 2021.
Kaylene holds a Bachelor of Science in Management (Honors) focused on Marketing from the University of The West Indies and is currently a Candidate for a Master of Business Administration Degree in Marketing & Sales Management at Edinburgh Napier University.
Diana Daniel is actively responsible for assisting in the management of the Payce Digital Bridgetown branch, including implementing strategies, coordinating daily customer service operations and procedures, identifying hiring and training needs and supervising and motivating staff to perform at their greatest.
Diana brings over 20 years of experience as a professional in customer service. Her passion for exemplary service drove her to be an advocate for customers and to ensure their needs are always met with the highest quality.
Diana holds Diplomas in Business Communications, Supervisory Management and Executive Development with the Barbados Institute of Management and Productivity as well as a certificate in Developing Managerial Effectiveness at the Sagicor Cave Hill School of Business and Management.
Gail started her work life at Cave Shepherd & Co. Ltd., as the Executive Assistant to the Group Chief Executive Officer in 2007. She transitioned into her current role with Payce Digital formerly in January 2019.
As Business Development Officer, Gail is currently responsible for managing Cave Shepherd Group partner relations with external stakeholders as well as holding the responsibility of special focus on the digital payment’s strategy for Payce Digital.
Gail holds an Associate of Science Degree in Administrative Professional Office Management from the University of the West Indies, a Certificate in Marketing, Public Relations and Advertising from The University of the West Indies, Open Campus and is a Member of the International Institute of Business Analysts.
